According to the latest indexes published by IPD, the commercial real estate evaluation service, in 2007 logistic property and business premises are showing the highest rental yields of any class of property asset: Respectively 6.7 and 6.5 %. Unsurprisingly, this yield is lower than for 2006 (7.2 %). The mean trend in rents is, again according to IPD, a 3.5 % increase for logistic and business premises, to 55.3 €/m²/year. This is the lowest growth compared to offices, residential and commercial. The (physical) vacancy rate has fallen to 9.6 %, against 11.3 % one year later. In 2007, logistics and business premises represented 8 % of the investors assets listed by IPD, against 4 % in 2000.
