Simon Nelson, until now acquisitions manager for Europe with Prologis, has been promoted to asset management director of Prologis European Properties, the Prologis quoted fund, from 1st August 2008. He will be based in Amsterdam. In this post he replaces Ralf Wessel who becomes managing director of the investment management branch of Prologis with responsibility for all third party investment activities.
Simon Nelson, 43, MRICS, MSc Real Estate and MA, started his career in 1989 with Bernard Thorpe in London, before joining 1993, DTZ in Paris as investment department manager. He joined Prologis in 2001 with responsibility for investments in Southern Europe. He is a member of the RICS.
